In an effort to equip the public health volunteers and those concerned in community health awareness, during December 16-17, 2010 COERR and Tharae-Nongsaeng Diocesan Social Action Center organized a community-based disaster risk management training on “FIRST AID, CPR and TRANSPORTING of the INJURED”. The training is conducted by the experienced medical trainer team from the Kusumarn District Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province. Knowledge about rights of the injured, tips for making an emergency call 1669 for the country-wide rescue team, as well as demonstration of first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) with trainees’ participation are also the highlight of the program aiming at preparing trainees for any emergency incidents. Document is also given to each trainee for further practice and skills.
